2 tablespoon vegetable oil1 pound barking deer, chopped into 1-inch squares3 red chiles, seeds and stems removed, finely chopped3 cups water2 to 3 tablespoons Bengali or Malaysian style meat masalaSalt to taste
In a wok or frying-pan, add the oil on a medium flame, and, when hot, put in the meat and chiles, and fry for a few minutes. Then add the water, and the meat masala, lower flame, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.
