Hey Dave, my old reliable Brinkmann charcoal grill has definitely served
its purpose as well as seen its better days. Its time for a replacement. I'm not looking for any kind of
an endorsement, but based on your experience, any recommendations on charcoal grills that are out there.
I fell in love with the big Green Egg, but the XL is gonna be about $1,000 out the door. All the forums
and research on the egg say it is extremely functional as well as worth the money. I want to stay
with the charcoal fire....... Any advice you can offer is appreciated. Thanks again
Jared

Hi Jared,
Dave asked me to reply to you since I'm the resident BBQ man at Fiery Foods.
I do work for Big Green Egg so I'm a little biased but I think the Big Green
Egg is a great choice for anybody who enjoys cooking on the grill. The
charcoal just flat out makes the food taste better and the Egg is really
great at a lot of different cooking techniques. It's a great grill for
steaks and burgers and it's a great slow smoker for ribs and brisket, but
you can also bake on it and cook real wood fired pizzas. Hope this helps you
make your decision. ;)
