One of the great chile mysteries is why some people are bothered by this "jaloproctitis" and some people are not. I am in the latter category. For those like yourself who are bothered, there seems to be no treatment other than abstinence, which is unacceptable. My only suggestion is, since dairy products ease the burn, try some ice cream for dessert.—Dave
