Growing Chiles on the Road?

Hi Dave,

I’m am considering retiring and traveling the U.S. in my Winnebago RV. Now I love hot sauce, peppers, and all things made with them, but…Are there any types of hot peppers, and a recommended method, for growing and maintaining them while on the road? Cheers,

Hello Bob:

You could plant them in pots and carry them around, but I doubt that they would get enough sunlight. I don’t think growing peppers while traveling is practical. Stick with canned chiles and hot sauce.
