Hi Dave,
Thanks to you for answering the questions in "Ask Dave!" I am starting a brick and mortar Hot Sauce and Spice store in the next year. I have done well (I think) in hammering out suppliers for the sauce side of the business (many heartfelt thanks to you for some of the leads your site provided) I am having trouble with the dry spice side. I know you specialize in peppers and all that is hot, but might you have any leads for first or prime quality dry spice (like cardamom, turmeric, and vanilla beans among the many) in lots less than 50 pounds?
Thanks so much,
Brian Marks

Brian:
A good source for wholesale dry spices is Woodland Farms, located at
www.gourmetstore.com  and 847-867-0010. You might also try The Spice House (312-274-0378) and see if they will wholesale. Speak with Tom.
