I noticed I can buy your Big Time Rub online…but it’s in 10-pound bulk. Does the rub freeze well? I usually make your rub from scratch using your recipe and have done very very, very well with the ribs and pork. But I want the real thing. So can I freeze in vacuum sealed packages?
Those rubs are two very different things. The one you can buy is what I use in contests but again, it’s way different than any recipe I’ve published. To answer the question, yes, it will keep well in sealed packages in the freezer. Many people do that. I’d say if you’re doing well with the one in the book stay with it.
