Hi Dr. BBQ:
I was going to get the Weber Performer grill. The charcoal is started with propane so there’s no lighter fluid involved. I have a gas grill now and wanted to switch back to charcoal, now more than ever with this built-in convenience. Any opinion? Thanks,

Hi Ed,
I won a Weber Performer a couple years ago at a cook-off but didn’t really need it for myself so I sent it to my sister’s house. Next trip through I assembled it for them and found it to really nice and the gas starter seemed like a great idea. Now its a few years later and they love it and use it all the time so I’d give it thumbs up.
