When is the best time of the year to harvest wood for the optimum flavor for BBQing? Thanks Norm
I'm not a tree expert but I've never heard of a better or worse time to harvest wood for BBQ.
As long as it's seasoned well I think it will be fine no matter when it's cut.
Note from Dave DeWitt: If the wood is cut in the winter it will have less sap and therefore take less time to season.
