Dave:
I was hoping you would help me identify a pepper that I have happened to grow, by mistake, in my garden. I bought several jalapeno, and bell pepper plants a month or so ago. but one of the plants seems to be growing a large green pepper unlike the bell, or jalapeno. It reminds me of a banana pepper, but it’s not yellow. The only other pepper I can think of is the New Mexican dhile pepper. but aren’t they usually red? These are all green.

Hello Tim:
Keep waiting and this might turn out to be a red New Mexican variety as they start out green and then turn red.
