Hi Dr. BBQ I am m a huge fan of yours, and I proudly own all four of your books. Keep them coming! The Sherry Butter Turkey recipe from your Big Time BBQ Cookbook sure looks good. I notice that the recipe calls for an 18 lb turkey. If the turkey I have in my freezer is 9-10 lbs instead of 18 lbs, should the cooking time and ingredients be cut in half? Thank you for your help. That’s a mighty small turkey. You can cut the injection recipe in half but the time won’t work out quite that well. You’ll be best to monitor the
internal temp of your little bird and take it off when the breast meat is 160 and the deep thigh measures 180.
